My Philosophy

My name is Siobhan, and I would like to share some of my thoughts on being a Death Doula and End of Life Planner.

As a death doula, my primary role is to be non-medical support to a dying person and the close people around them.

my focus is to allow for grief and the actual death event to have the space to be honored and experienced. I frequently see this space being eclipsed by practical affairs needing to be handled in a timely matter. Closing accounts and cleaning out living spaces can feel insurmountable, especially when mired in grief and emotional overwhelm.

By focusing directly on your practical and spiritual needs, I take the overwhelming list of things to accomplish and handle after a death and help you make a plan for it before death is even on the horizon.

By giving ourselves and those we care about a plan to follow surrounding our death, we give an incredible gift to the people who want to celebrate and grieve our lives and legacies.
